Hi, I am Dr. Nwogu from Nigeria. Recently I had my Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India. I must say I am lucky enough to find Indian Medguru Group who did everything for me. Otherwise, I know the kind of state I was in, I was really bogged down by frequent urination with pain which multiplied during the night time. Soon I realized that the color of my urine was seen red, which was alarming as it was nothing but blood. I immediately consulted my doctor, he did some test and confided that I am engrossed with a menace called prostate cancer, and would now require a Radical Perineal Prostatectomy. The word cancer is too lethal to shock anybody. However, I didn’t panic, rather kept my cool and browsed some local hospitals pertaining to my Radical Perineal Prostatectomy. Ironically, I was dismayed to see a long list of patients waiting to be treated, I without wasting my time searched on the internet, I studied Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India and compared with other countries like Thailand, Mexico etc, but found the former the best option for my treatment. I then got a medical consultant known as Indian MedGuru Group. I called them and discussed my case, also talked about the feasibility of having my Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India. After studying my reports the consultant work out a competent offer which was pretty comfortable to me as far as the quality and cost parse.
I immediately booked my tickets and soon left for my Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India. I reached India, to my surprise I was picked up at the Airport, taken to hotel and then the other day to the doctor. The doctor was a nice man; he listened to me carefully, and soon made me comfortable. He assured me that I would get the best Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India, to which I can now vouch for and that soon I will get rid of the menace of cancer. During the Radical Perineal Prostatectomy, the patient is placed in the high lithotomy position, which places the feet in stirrups and extends them up in the air to elevate the legs above the head. This position gives the surgeon a clear view of the incision site. Many hospitals will shave the perineum in preparation for the surgery. The surgeon makes an incision length-wise across the perineum and uses a self-retaining perineal retractor to hold the incision open. The surgeon then gradually detaches the prostate gland from the surrounding organs and tissues. In the perineal prostatectomy, the nerve-sparing technique is difficult to perform. As in the retropubic surgery, the surgeon will have to sever the urethra above and below the prostate gland. If the disease has not affected the neurovascular bundles, the surgeon will leave them intact in hopes of preserving the erectile function. Patients whose Gleason scores and PSA levels indicate that they may be a candidate for nerve-sparing prostatectomy should speak with their surgeon. Men for whom maintaining sexual potency is a priority should speak frankly with their surgeons about previous success with the technique. High success rates in the nerve-sparing prostatectomy are directly correlated with the surgeon’s experience. Men who are interested in the nerve-sparing technique should also be aware that the prostatectomy changes the flow of blood to the penis and may negatively affect sexual potency despite nerve-sparing technique. After my cancerous prostate gland was removed through the Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India the surgeon closed the incision and left a drain that emptied the surgical area of excess fluid. I was soon discharged, the 3rd day followed by the Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India. A catheter is inserted into the urethra and was removed within a week.
At the end, I thank everyone who was directly or indirectly related to my Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India, may God bless them all for expediting an excellent treatment, I would certainly recommend anyone and everyone any medical treatment including the Radical Perineal Prostatectomy in India. And above all I extend my words of gratitude to my medical consultant for making a world class arrangement during my visit to India
