I keep trying to tell everybody about the wonderful experience I had during my Rotating Knee replacement in India. The reason behind this is the high end service I received through my medical consultant- Indian Medguru Group. The Rotating Knee replacement in India was so good, so effective, and so helpful for my knee, that I have become younger now. I am Mrs. Babarinde from Nigeria, I am 50 years old. I have suffered from right knee pain since couple of years. The pain was really bad and I retired from teaching. I could barely walk and put my legs forward. They were so painful that I couldn't drive well. The knee was hurting so much that I couldn't do anything of daily chores too. The orthopedic surgeons said that I need to have a Rotating Knee replacement in India. However, it was difficult to carry out my treatment there in Nigeria, of obvious reasons. My friend forwarded me the Newsletter of Medical tourism of the Indian Medguru Group, a Medical consultant in India. After going through the same I decided to contact them. After my e mail, I got a prompt reply and a call explaining me about having my Rotating Knee replacement in India. The package offered by them was excellent and too good to reject, so I and my husband booked our tickets for India.
Soon I along with my husband reached for my Rotating Knee replacement in India. At the airport we were warmly welcomed by the Indian Medguru Group team, We was taken to the hospital immediately, without wasting my time, a meeting was arranged with the surgeon to discuss in detail about the procedure for my Rotating Knee replacement in India. This meeting helped me to settle down my fear and anxiety and boosted my morale, which helped me stay calm and composed during my Rotating Knee replacement in India.Rotating Knee replacement in India involves exposure of the front of the knee, with detachment of part of the quadriceps muscle from the patella. The patella is displaced to one side of the joint allowing exposure of the distal end of the femur and the proximal end of the tibia. The ends of these bones are then accurately cut to shape using cutting guides oriented to the long axis of the bones. The cartilages and the anterior cruciate ligament are removed: the posterior cruciate ligament may also be removed but the tibial and fibular collateral ligaments are preserved. Metal components are then impacted onto the bone or fixed using polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) cement. A round ended implant is used for the femur, mimicking the natural shape of the bone. On the tibia the component is flat, although it often has a stem which goes down inside the bone for further stability. A flattened or slightly dished high density polyethylele surface is then inserted onto the tibial component so that the weight is transferred metal to plastic not metal to metal. During the Rotating Knee replacement in India any deformities must be corrected, and the ligaments balanced so that the knee has a good range of movement and is stable.
After completion of my Rotating Knee replacement in India I was recommended a couple of exercises under the rehabilitation course along with few medicines. I must say, that the kind of treatment I received was on par and it would be no wrong to say that the treatment was better than we get in the developed nations like US, UK. Definitely any medical decision is highly complex and so was going to India for my Rotating Knee replacement. But having this surgery done in India, I am complacent and can recommend anyone in my friend circle to opt medical services in India. Now I feel great with no pain. At the moment, I could do anything. I can work at the yard, I can walk normal and get up and down. I feel better than I did few years ago. I can feel myself stronger. I am now 20 years younger after having my Rotating Knee replacement in India.
