A postgraduate from Nair Hospital Bombay, Dr Pinto is an ex staff of GMC Goa, and was a Sr Registrar Bartsand the London NHS Trust,UK and also senior clinical lecturer dentistry University of London. He has done his fellowship in advanced dentofacial cosmetic surgery at AZ Sint Jn, Brugge, Belgium. He is currently Visiting Sr. Consultant Dept of OMFS KLES Hospital, Belgaum,Karnataka. and Fellow of the Dental faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons,England. He has authored several international publications and has lectured in India and abroad.
He is also a member of the cleft team a US based charity SMILE TRAIN NY that gives children with cleft lip and palate their smiles back. He has over 15 years experience in jaw bone grafting ,oral/gum surgery and dental implants.
