Dr. Kiran Shrikrishna Gadre has done his M.D.S in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Govt. Dental College, Mumbai (1985). He has several accolades to his credit, the ‘Ciba-Geigy’ award for ranking 1st in his college at the 2nd B D S examination, the ‘Late Dr. V M Desai’ price for securing the highest marks in the subject of Oral Surgery, the ‘Late Dr. Jimy. Dubash’ Prize for securing the 2nd highest marks in Prosthodontics, the ‘Medical Welfare Trust’ prize for being the Best All Round Student of his college. To crown all these is the ‘ Mayor’s Medal of Honor ’ (1991)for operating on a white bengal tiger, in Peshwa Park Zoo, Pune for Oronasal Fistula due to an impacted supernumerary tooth. He is currently a Prof. and PG teacher of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College & Hospital, Katraj, Pune.
